High Temperature Resistance & UV Resistance
Photovoltaic cables are often exposed to sunlight, and solar systems are frequently used in harsh environments, including high temperatures and UV radiation. In Europe, sunny days can cause solar system site temperatures as high as 100°C. Currently, PVC is a variety of materials, including rubber, TPE, and high-quality cross-linking materials that we can use. Unfortunately, rubber cables are rated at 90°C, and even PVC cables rated at 70°C are often used outdoors. Currently, the National Golden Sun Project is often launched. To save costs, many contractors opt for ordinary PVC instead of specialized cables for solar systems. Replacing photovoltaic cables with cables will greatly affect the service life of the system.

Radiation Resistance
The characteristics of photovoltaic cables are determined by the special insulating materials and sheathing materials for the cables, which we call cross-linked PE. After irradiation by the radiation accelerator, the molecular structure of the cable material will change, thereby affecting its performance in all aspects.

High Mechanical Strength
In fact, during installation and maintenance, cables can be routed on the sharp edges of roof structures, and cables must withstand compression, bending, tension, cross tensile loads, and strong shocks. If the cable jacket is not strong enough, the cable insulation can be severely damaged, affecting the service life of the entire cable or causing a short circuit, fire, and personal injury hazards.

Durability and Safety
  • Service Life: Over 20 years under normal use at 120°C.
  • Insulation Strength: Maintains insulation performance after long-term DC voltage resistance testing (e.g., exposure to 85°C salt water).
  • Flame Retardant/Low Smoke Zero Halogen: Special flame-retardant materials reduce fire risks and meet environmental safety standards.

    Excellent Electrical Performance
  • Low resistance and high withstand voltage: DC resistance ≤ 5.09Ω/km, insulation resistance ≥ 1014Ω·cm, ensuring stable and safe high-current transmission.
  • Water immersion test passed: After being immersed in water for one hour, a 20m cable showed no breakdown during a 5-minute voltage test (6.5kV AC or 15kV DC).
