Starting from material science, structural mechanics, and industrial performance to achieve IPX9K waterproof rating
Test conditions of IPX9K
1. High temperature and high pressure impact:
80±5℃ hot water is sprayed continuously for 30 minutes at a flow rate of 14-16L/min and a pressure of 80-100Bar.
2. Multi-angle penetration:
The water column attacks the connector joints at four directions of 0°, 30°, 60°, and 90°.
3. Zero water vapor penetration:
Any water vapor penetration is considered as a protection failure.

Three technical dead ends to crack IPX9K
1. Material science: resisting high temperature
When the ambient temperature exceeds 80℃, the compression deformation rate of ordinary rubber sealing rings can reach more than 30%, and the sealing performance is directly lost.
- Solution of Cnlinko DH16 series:
1) Hard core upgrade of the shell:
zinc alloy & aluminum alloy + hard anodizing process is adopted, and the thermal expansion coefficient is controlled at 1.2×10⁻⁵/℃ (40% lower than ordinary aluminum alloy).
2) Industrial-grade standard for sealing rings:
Silicone rubber materials have passed professional certification and maintain extremely low compression deformation rate in harsh temperature ranges.
3) Laboratory data:
After simulating 100 hot and cold cycles (-40℃↔125℃), the sealing interface gap is still ≤0.01mm, achieving aerospace-grade sealing stability.
2. Structural mechanics: against 100Bar high pressure
The horror of high-pressure water flow lies in the microscopic penetration caused by its 14-16L/min.
- Cnlinko DH16 series resolves the crisis through gradient sealing design:
1) First line of defense:
Pre-pressed O-ring at the device interface, using 3.5MPa pre-tightening force to offset water flow impact
2) Second line of defense:
The axial sealing ring of the plug adopts ±0.01mm tolerance control to block the axial penetration path
3) Ultimate line of defense:
Spiral bayonet + self-compensating sealing ring design, still maintain dynamic sealing under mechanical vibration
4) Actual performance:
In the 80-100Bar/80±℃ water pressure test of UL and TUV authorized laboratories, the humidity sensor inside the connector shows the dew point temperature <-40℃ (absolutely no water vapor penetration) throughout the whole process.
3. Engineering verification: Cnlinko DH16 series endurance test in industrial scenarios
1) Mechanical vibration:
Passed the 20G acceleration vibration test under the standard
2) Plug-in life:
The contact resistance increases slightly after 500 plug-ins
3) Chemical corrosion:
The shell passes the 70h salt spray test and the protection level is not degraded
Application scenarios of IPX9K connectors
1. High-pressure steam cleaning (≥80℃)
2. Deep well/mine high-pressure water jet operation
3. Tropical/polar alternating temperature difference scenarios
4. Long-term sealing in chemical corrosion environment
