Bare wires are wires without any insulation or protective layer. Cables, on the other hand, are protected by an insulating layer and are used to transmit, distribute electrical energy or transmit electrical signals.
4. Differences in the physical form of conductors
Wires are divided into solid conductors, stranded conductors, braided conductors and other types. According to whether the wire and cable has an insulating layer, it is divided into two types: bare wire and insulated wire. Bare wire refers to a wire without an outer insulation layer or protective sheath outside the wire conductor.
