The Coaxial cable connector kit of M12 is a circular connector with 12mm locking thread, which is mainly used in factory automation applications of actuators, sensors, industrial Ethernet and fieldbus. M12 connectors are designed for flushing and corrosive environments. They are equipped with 3, 4, 5, 8 or 12 pins. The user must select the correct number of pins for a particular application. Sensor and power applications require 3 and 4 pins; PROFINET and Ethernet require 4-pin and 8-pin; Fieldbus, can bus and DeviceNet usually use 4-pin and 5-pin; 12 pins for signal requirements.
